Eclipse-fm® V6 Releases on 1st April
With a number of significant changes to the system, Asckey will be holding 2 update days soon after the release where you will be able to come and see how to get the best from the new functionality and features.
The dates for the update courses are 14 and 20 April, here at Asckey starting at 10.00 through to 16.00.
The major change to the system is the introduction of Maintenance ‘Schedules’ which simplify the process of creating planned maintenance schedules. Deriving from the work done for EBME in the special EBME 5.2 release, these recognise that while all items of equipment of the same type will need a similar maintenance schedule, some specific equipment instances will need the schedule changed, perhaps with additional maintenance tasks added, or a different frequency. Instead of needing to create a completely new schedule for such assets, the maintenance changes for each particular one can be made just for them, with all the other assets using that common maintenance template being unaffected.
WebEclipse and the Document Management function have also both seen complete overhauls in order to provide improved functionality and features following the last feedback group.
The Mobile Task Management module continues to grow and expand with a new stock control feature being developed to allow trade staff to log parts used (from their van or stores) along with the ability to complete stock checks.
All this along with the usual enhancements and improvements from the feedback from you the users of Eclipse-fm®.
Eclipse-fm® V6 Release Training
In order to understand and get the best from these changes you really need to take a day out in order to get a feel for how they are working, and how best to bring them into use.
