Comprehensive reporting capabilities are an essential part of any Facilities Management system in order to maximise the benefits of the data accumulated by the system. This data, if subject to proper analysis and presentation, will significantly aid in management planning.

Eclipse-fm® offers unrivalled data reporting, with multiple levels of functionality

Query Lists (V5.1 and upwards)
Most list views provide the capability to define sorting and grouping of the data displayed,  to move and eliminate columns, and to define a column to freeze on. Once a layout is defined, it is retained for the user as the default list layout. 

 

 

 

 

   

Whatever layout is defined can then be printed out, reproducing the layout, data selection, grouping etc.

 This is a very quick and intuitive way to produce ad-hoc data "snapshots" which may be emailed (as a PDF) or printed to paper of course.

Query
A simple, ad hoc reporting tool is provided giving access at the "files and fields" level. . With access to data files and fields, and simple to understand "point and click" selection of data needed, ordering and selection, users can rapidly create reports for particular needs, and store these for re-use. 

Eclipse-fm® Query can access multiple related files, and can export the report data to the usual data interchange formats from comma delimited (CSV) to XML

Crystal Reports
Eclipse-fm® is delivered with a suite of 200+ Crystal reports, available

  • on demand as named reports
Crystal Report Selector
  • reports grouped by Module  with pre-defined sorting and selection parameters   
  • as part of module functionality to provide "report button" output where appropriate

Users who have a full Crystal licence can customise these reports for themselves, and we offer a service to build or customise reports to specific trust needs.
