New in Eclipse-fm® version 6.1, the Project Management view provides facilities for the definition of "small schemes" projects, and the collation of several areas of Eclipse-fm® data into a single Project centred set of information.
These include:
This is the Project Management View with the Project Overview Tab active. The other tabs are shown in sequence in the Picture Gallery below. Hover over these and you can zoom up to full size images.
Calendar
The calendar tab lets you define any important project related events to be recorded within an outlook style calendar. The calendar presentation is highly dynamic and events can be created and dragged around the calendar as required, or the duration changed by simply dragging the border of the event.
Day/Week/Month views are available, and the presentation can be changed to that of a Timeline or Gantt style chart by checking the "TimeLine mode" checkbox..
Budgets Tab
This tab allows for cost centres to be added to a project, and shows the budget allocaitons/used values for each. If the cost centre has any purchase orders or tickets already booked against it these will be added to the project and any time/costs associated will also be added to the project. This allows the creation of the project after work has already begun.
Tasks
All tasks that have been marked as part of thie project are listed here, with drill thrugh to the task details.
Purchase Orders
This tab shows a list of purchase orders that are associated to the project. A purchase order will be shown if any of its line items are marked as being for this project, allowing a single PO to cover multiple projects..
Assets
This tab shows the assets involved in the project. the that the same asset can be added to a project multiple times with different usage classifications.
Contracts
The contracts tab allows maintenance contracts to be added to a project. Note one maintenance contract can be split between several projects - when adding a contract to a project the cost that is associated with the project is entered.
Stakeholders
The stakeholders tab allows for contacts and internal staff records to be added to the project. Selecting "view" on one of the contacts will open up the correct view to look at the details for the stakeholder.
Status
This tab displays a live update of key project numbers - Times, Costs, Work Tickets etc, and Total Budget remaining.
The figures in this tab are updated whenever the tab is selected so they will always be an accurate representation of the projects status.
