The Eclipse-fm® Asset Management Module is a key part of the system. It covers everything from essential technical and administrative information, to a complete list of all maintenance work that has been done on that asset.
It includes routines allowing for the creation, amendment and deletion (where permitted) of asset data that describes the assets to be maintained within your organisation.
Powerful functionality combined with simplicity of use makes the management of assets less of a chore.
- Track the life-cycle of your assets, including all maintenance work carried out or due.
- See at a glance when and to whom an asset has been loaned.
- Limit the assets visible to a user to only those for their site, department, etc.
Where maintenance tasks are asset related, the Asset Register greatly simplifies the setting up of tasks, especially in respect of the tedious, but always necessary accountability for task costs.
The basic Asset data is extended to be able to cover other special maintenance needs, such as PAT Testing, IT Equipment, Vehicle Maintenance, and EBME We will be looking to work with users with such specialist needs to develop such "templates" relatively quickly. EBME Specific details have their own description page. This Tab can be extended to include further information if required, and Tabs covering other special maintenance needs can be created. In order to minimise unnecessary detail, these special tabs only appear when equipment of the relevant type is displayed.
