Task Enquiry & Action Progression

Where the Helpdesk is the core of task creation, task enquiry is the heart of task management. The list is colour coded to show tasks that are in time, approaching overdue, and overdue.

 

All tasks are shown here and can be searched for, then actioned as they pass through a series of stages, from created, through allocated for action, worked on/on hold with reason, and on to completion.

Action buttons control the progress of tasks from creation to allocation for action. Job-dockets (tickets) can be printed in traditional fashion, emailed, or sent to mobile devices such as PDAs or smart phones.

As each stage is passed an event is recorded in the history for that task, along with the identity of the member of staff who created it, issued it, and worked on it.These events can then be reviewed at any time in the future.
